2011 Fly Fishing Conclave & Banquet Donation Request
To whom it may concern, I am writing you on behalf of Chinook waters Fly Fishing Club. We are a non profit membership organization who’s mission is to promote the pleasure, fellowship and sportsmanship of fly fishing and it’s related activities. We endeavour to provide a recreational and educational forum for fly fishing ideas and techniques as well as to promote conservation, preservation and enhancement of fly fishing resources. In order to fulfill our mission we are hosting the 2012 Fly Fishing Conclave & Banquet, March 9th - 10th, 2012 at the Lethbridge College Barn. Itinerary to include a Friday evening meet and greet, Saturday fly fishing conclave with informative presentations and demos, followed by a banquet and auction Saturday evening. As a non profit organization, we rely on financial support and donations from individuals and companies, such as yourself, to assist with our mission. Chinook Waters Fly Fishing Club have hosted similar events the last few years and with generous support were able to make significant donations to Project Healing Waters Canada, Oldman River Trout Unlimited, Lethbridge College Foundation, Lethbridge College Scholarship fund, and Lethbridge College xeriscape project. Our goal this year is to raise funds to support outdoor education programs for children and youth in Southern Alberta. Please consider donating towards our auction in the form of funds, items, or services that will assist our organization with making the 2012 Fly Fishing Conclave and Banquet a big success. Your support for our organization and it’s purpose will be thankfully acknowledged in the program agenda and event website.
